    Abstract: A system and method for automatically pre-generating a flight path for an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) to survey a target location is disclosed. The system comprises a computing system that considers environmental conditions such as external and structural factors about the target location to determine an optimal time and route that should be employed in order to best obtain the desired images of selected structures. The factors can include data about the weather, lighting, and atmospheric conditions in the target region, as well as specific physical characteristics for the structures and surrounding land, and features that have been designated as being of higher importance. By customizing the flight path to reflect the target location's particular environmental and structural conditions, the UAV can obtain images of greater quality and relevance.

The system can then predict weather for the planned activity. Using the description for the activity, the location, the duration, and the predicted weather, the system can generate a user activity profile. The profile can be analyzed with a machine learning model, trained based on past insurance claims, to generate one or more needed insurance coverage levels for the planned activity. The needed insurance coverage levels can be mapped to one or more respective insurance coverage recommendations for applicable insurance products.

In response, the system can determine the user identity is verified, and can further be configured to automatically grant the person access to one or more services, features, or information for which he or she is authorized.

    Abstract: Methods and systems for detecting and responding to impaired drivers are disclosed. The methods intelligently alert and route a user driver's vehicle to improve driving safety based on a predicted path of an impaired driver. The method shares data collected by vehicles in an area to determine which that a vehicle has an impaired driver. The method associates cones of certainty with such a vehicle to establish where the vehicle is likely to travel in the future. If the system determines there is a likelihood of accident based on a proximity to these cones of certainty, an alert can be presented to a user driver of a proximate vehicle. The method also generates routes that avoid or limit the user driver's exposure to the impaired driver's vehicle, such as by suggesting detours or automatically controlling the user driver's vehicle to avoid the path of the impaired driver.

    Abstract: A system and method provide a two-way pager system. Members use pager systems to communicate in situations where they lack power or access to other modes of communication. For example, the pagers have a switching system that allows users to broadcast information about their current situation in an emergency. For example, the system could use switches that could be set to three different settings. Separate switches could be used for different categories of resources required in an emergency, and the switches could take on settings that represent resource requirements and availability. A centralized system listens for pages from users' pagers that transmit the switch settings for the categories. The centralized system then determines which users lack certain resources, which users have sufficient resources, and which users need certain resources. The system then transmits information through the pager network to inform users where to find resources that they are lacking.

Specifically, the communication device may be a telephone service powered hotspot that plugs into a telephone jack of a Public Switched Telephone Network. The telephone plug of the hotspot provides power and a telephone connection for the hotspot. The hotspot may include a modem that can use the telephone connection to connect the hotspot to an Internet Service Provider. By using such a connection, the modem can provide dial-up internet connectivity for the hotspot. The hotspot can use the power supply to provide a wired or wireless power source for nearby devices after a disaster disables usual power sources. The hotspot can use the internet access from the modem to provide wired or wireless internet access for the nearby devices. However, because dial-up connectivity can have a very limited bandwidth, the hotspot may throttle applications when the bandwidth requires such throttling.

In one embodiment, onboard vehicle sensors may detect a sudden deceleration indicating that an accident may have occurred.
