  • Patent number: 10463840
Abstract: A self-slitting open lumen cannula may be used with catheter adapters to reduce manufacturing complexity and costs, as well as improve the safety of the catheter adapters against fluid leakage. The open lumen cannula may also include one or more notches to facilitate flashback visualization. The catheter adapters may further include a catheter adapter body formed of a compliant material that houses one or more compression resistant septa with at least one lumen formed by the proximal end of the needle during a self-slitting process as the catheter adapter is assembled. The compression resistant septum may also be coupled to a compression cap that imparts a radial compression force on the one or more compression resistant septa such that the at least one lumen narrows and seals when the cannula is removed.

  • Publication number: 20190205892
Abstract: A ticket location system can match each of a plurality of trouble tickets stored in a plurality of electronic records of a first set of electronic records issued for power grid elements of a power grid with a corresponding instance of route data stored in an electronic record of a second set of electronic records. Each instance of route data characterizes a time and date of a route traversed by a service crew during field service of the corresponding trouble ticket. The ticket location system can identify a stop characterized in each instance of the route data. The stop is at least one of a longest stop in the instance of route data and a stop with a duration that exceeds a predetermined amount of time. Additionally, the ticket location system can associate each of the plurality of trouble ticket with a location and a time of the stop in the corresponding route data.

  • Patent number: 10315255
Abstract: A machine tool for carrying out operations on a part includes a longitudinal rail, a transverse arm, a module for connection between the transverse arm and the longitudinal rail, the module being fitted in translation on the longitudinal rail, a tool which is supported by the transverse arm, and a retention unit which is arranged at one end of the transverse arm, and includes at least one sucker. The machine tool has an assembly configuration—in which the retention unit and the tool are positioned respectively on both sides of the longitudinal rail, such that the tool is fitted cantilevered relative to the longitudinal rail. This provides the machine tool with great polyvalence, in that it makes it possible to carry out operations in areas which in particular have significant curvatures, which are difficult to access, or which are unsuitable for securing of the sucker(s) of the retention unit.
