  • Patent number: 11547292
Abstract: A speculum includes a first blade member and a second blade member. Each of the first and second blade members extend from a proximal end to a distal end. A speculum control includes a control nut threadingly engaged with a threaded shaft. Internal threads of the control nut are oversized relative external threads of the threaded shaft such that the control nut freely spins upon the threaded shaft.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: September 3, 2019
Date of Patent: January 10, 2023
    Assignee: Cyalume Technologies, Inc.
Inventors: James Miller, Eric Domingos, Joseph Longo

  • Patent number: 9074131
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a powder composition comprising both chemiluminescent and fluorescent components. In some embodiments, the disclosure provides a marking system, which is in powder form, comprising at least one oxalate ester, at least one fluorescer, at least one peroxide, at least one catalyst, and at least one secondary fluorescent agent. In accordance with the present disclosure, the at least one oxalate ester, the at least one fluorescer, the at least one peroxide, and the at least one catalyst are admixed at the time of use for the generation of light. In certain embodiments, the chemiluminescent components emit light in the visible, ultra-violet, or infrared spectrum as the result of a chemical reaction, and the secondary fluorescent components can be selected for their ability to absorb at least some of the light generated by the chemiluminescent components, and then reemit light at a different wavelength.

  • Patent number: 7959835
Abstract: This invention is directed towards chemiluminescent systems useful in the practice of methods of intrusion detection, compositions useful for intrusion detection and methods for their formation, and to covert intrusion detection techniques and compositions therefore containing an infrared light generating chemiluminescent system, blended into an earthen-like carrier that enable one to detect whether any movement has breached an area during a certain time frame.

  • Publication number: 20110085318
Abstract: A signaling device comprising a multi-part chemiluminescent light source and a reflective member attached to the signaling device. The chemiluminescent light source comprises at least one first part comprising at least one oxalate ester and at least one fluorescer, and at least one second part comprising at least one peroxide and at least one catalyst. Further, the signaling device comprises a multi-part chemiluminescent light source and a stand attached to the signaling device, wherein the chemiluminescent light source comprises at least one first part comprising at least one oxalate ester and at least one fluorescer, and at least one second part comprising at least one peroxide and at least one catalyst.
