  • Publication number: 20240018972
Abstract: A heating device is for a vacuum line in which pumped gases are intended to circulate. The heating device includes at least one radiating body to radiate in the infrared when it is heated to a temperature above 150° C. The at least one radiating body is arranged in the pumping path of the gases.

  • Publication number: 20230400030
Abstract: A turbomolecular vacuum pump drives gases to be pumped from a suction orifice to a discharge orifice. In the turbomolecular vacuum pump, the surface of the internal bowl of the rotor arranged facing the shell of the stator capable of being cooled exhibits a higher emissivity than the outer surface of the rotor in fluidic communication with the pumped gases and/or the surface of the shell of the stator capable of being cooled arranged facing the internal bowl of the rotor exhibits a higher emissivity than the outer surface of the rotor in fluidic communication with the pumped gases.

  • Patent number: 8016512
Abstract: A fastener system with a coaxial annular flange (14) having through holes (16), each serving to pass a screw (17) for screwing into an associated tapped hole (16) in the wall (2) of a stationary structure. Each through hole (16) has a circularly cylindrical distal segment (16a) followed by an enlarged proximal segment (16b) adjacent to the wall (2) of the stationary structure, allowing the shank (19) of the screw to bend and enabling a corresponding lateral offset (D). This prevents the screw (17) rupturing under high shear forces due to accidental destruction of a vacuum pump rotor while rotating at full speed.

  • Publication number: 20050244219
Abstract: The fastener system of the invention comprises a coaxial annular flange (14) having through holes (16) provided therein, each serving to pass a screw (17) for screwing into an associated tapped hole (16) in the wall (2) of a stationary structure. Each through hole (16) comprises a circularly cylindrical distal segment (16a) followed by an enlarged proximal segment (16b) adjacent to the wall (2) of the stationary structure, and allowing the shank (19) of the screw to bend and enabling a corresponding lateral offset (D). This prevents the screw (17) rupturing under high shear forces due to accidental destruction of a vacuum pump rotor while rotating at full speed.
