    Abstract: Migration of messages in a distributed data storage system between compute nodes via RDMA-capable networking technology is supported by a messaging system configured with Producers replicating messages to a specified data storage layout and publishing messages with assigned time stamps to a fast storage queue in a B?-tree format and Consumers registered to the queue to retrieve messages therefrom. Push notifications indicating availability of new messages in the queue are transmitted to intended Consumers. Upon retrieval and processing of the messages, timestamp acknowledgements are sent out from the Consumers to Brokers.
