The process further comprises supplying a consumable form of the second metal to a locus of the interface layer and heating the locus of the interface layer in an non-reactive environment. In this process, the heating fuses the consumable form of the second metal to render a fused form of the second metal and joins the fused form of the second metal to the interface layer.

The method may include inserting a guidewire through an incision in a patient underneath an exterior surface of a target biological structure, guiding a ramp device over the guidewire to a position underneath the target biological structure such that the target biological structure is partly supported by the ramp device, guiding a cuff deployment tool over the guidewire to the ramp device, the cuff deployment tool comprising an interior volume and a cuff positioned within the interior volume, and causing the cuff from the cuff deployment tool to deploy such that the cuff moves from within the interior volume to an extended position. At least part of the cuff is positioned between the ramp device and the target biological structure in the extended position.

A security policy has rules that each provide a condition and action to be performed when the condition is satisfied. A rule also has a rule type that is used by the distribution system to identify the security components that are responsible for enforcing the rules. To distribute the security policies that have been received at a host computer system, the firewall agent identifies to which enforcement engine a rule applies based in part on rule type. The firewall agent then distributes the rule to the identified enforcement engine, which then enforces the rule.
