Abstract: A method is described for transferring and displaying data over a network. The method includes a client and a server. The client includes a client application to operate in a network environment. The server includes a server application to provide streaming data, snapshot data and historical data via the network. The client application and the server application maintain a connection to each other. The client application provides non-buffered, substantially real-time streaming data to the plurality of clients upon requests from the plurality of clients.
