    Abstract: A finishing machine comprises a chamber which is mounted for vibratory motion about a horizontal axis. Finishing medium in the chamber is induced to flow in a generally helical path and is recirculated by means of a tray mounted externally of the chamber and connecting an exit opening with an entry opening which is laterally spaced from and lower than the exit opening.
