  • Publication number: 20210200751
Abstract: Exemplary embodiments enable the importation of process log information from a wide variety of sources into target databases. The exemplary embodiments may properly import process log information from a variety of different types of data sources. Moreover, the exemplary embodiments can handle the importation from a large number of data sources on an ongoing basis. Process log information may originate in a source format, may be converted into a canonical format and then may be converted from the canonical format into the destination format of the target databases. The exemplary embodiments may provide data validation for the process log information. The exemplary embodiments may provide process monitoring based on the process log information that has been imported into the target database.

  • Patent number: 7987693
Abstract: Method and apparatus for measuring the coefficient of rolling friction or speed of a horizontal surface over which a round object is rolled such as a putting green encountered in the game of golf. The method includes a device for launching a ball across the surface at a constant and consistent velocity. An included timing device is triggered to start counting the elapsed time when the ball exits the launching device and continues counting until the ball has decelerated to a stop. At the instant the ball ceases moving the timer is triggered to terminate the count. The time required for a body with a specific velocity to come to rest after experiencing constant deceleration is determined by the laws of motion. The coefficient of friction or “speed” of the green which is proportional to the amount of deceleration may then be calculated. This time measurement is therefore sufficient to determine the speed of the green surface which may be reported as an equivalent “stimp” value.

  • Patent number: 4064720
Abstract: In a cylinder lock mechanism of the type in which longitudinally movable pin tumblers are housed in a normally freely rotatable lock plug which is coupled to a locking member by means of a rocking lever responding to correct alignment of the tumblers, the resistance of the lock to picking, and to fouling and corrosion may be improved, and the structure made more compact, by making the lever part of a three part linkage, the lever being pivotless and actuated by the tumblers by a laterally movable diaphragm in the lock plug and acting upon a laterally movable clutch dog to couple the locking member to the plug. A decombinating cam is provided to ensure disengagement of the diaphragm from the tumblers on removal of a key from the mechanism, and provision may be made positively to lock the locking member against rotation except when the mechanism is freed for rotation by insertion of a correct key.
