    Abstract: A system and methods for the treatment of amblyopia are described. The system also includes a controller capable of delaying the delivery of the second image to the second eye of the patent. The controller is configured to receive the second image and the first image. The controller is also configured to identify a delay factor associated with the second image. The controller is also configured to provide the first image to the display system for viewing by the first eye of the patient. The controller is also configured such that after a delay determined by the delay factor, the controller provides the second image to the display system for viewing by the second eye of the patient.
