  • Patent number: 12145534
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method and system for monitoring the status of a person in the vicinity of a vehicle, including capturing an image of an area in the vehicle or in the vicinity of the vehicle, analysing the captured image, detecting if the captured image contains a person, determining at a first time a characteristic associated with the person in the captured image, comparing the characteristic with a predefined threshold value; and in response to the determined parameter surpassing the predefined threshold value, actuating a change of state of the vehicle. The characteristic may comprise temperature.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 26, 2020
Date of Patent: November 19, 2024
    Assignee: ATSR LIMITED
Inventors: Eric Gallagher, Valdas Bockus, Colm Loughnane
  • Publication number: 20240125259
Abstract: A broadband resonator for a fuel cell compressor is disclosed. The resonator having a resonator insert having a tubular pipe surrounded by a plurality of disc-shaped walls separating the resonator insert receiving chamber into one or more individual resonator chambers. The tubular pipe is positioned eccentrically within a resonator insert receiving chamber. An entrained water removal system is formed in the resonator, preventing entrained water from accumulating in the resonator chambers which would result in an undesirable detuning of the designed amplitude frequency spectrum response.
    Type: Application
    Filed: October 12, 2022
    Publication date: April 18, 2024

  • Publication number: 20220185235
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method and apparatus for controlling access to a vehicle, including using the detection of a personnel transport apparatus to actuate vehicle doors to unlock and determining a suitable means of access to the vehicle based on a determined type of patient transport apparatus. The determined suitable means may include a ramp, a lift or manual access depending on the type of patient transport apparatus.

  • Patent number: 9239815
Abstract: The present invention provides a vehicle control system, for example for use with an emergency services vehicle such as an ambulance, fire engine, police car or the like, and which provides enhanced security, functionality and improved fuel consumption for such vehicles when at the scene of a situation such as a fire, accident, or the like, the system being operable to permit an engine of the vehicle to remaining running while simultaneously immobilizing the vehicle. Furthermore when configurable parameters such as but not limited to battery levels and or internal vehicle temperatures are reached, such a control system, without any human interface, automatically shuts down the engine to reduce fuel burn, reduce emissions, reduce engine wear and maintenance and thereby promote a greener environment.
