Abstract: A device to shoot water into the air for a water display is described. The configuration of the shooter allows a stream of water to be shot out that contains reduced or no air exiting the device with the water, which provides a non-frothy appearance. The device may control the velocity of the water being shot by the device so that unique visual effects may be achieved, including an effect where a volume of water is suspended in the air.
