Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method for training a model for labeling images. The method comprises obtaining a first dataset of labeled images, the first dataset of labeled images being selected from a pool of images presenting different views of portions of geographical areas; selecting, from the pool of images, a second dataset of images for pseudo labeling, different from the first dataset; feeding the second dataset of images into the model and obtaining as output of the model the second dataset of images with pseudo-labels; combining the first dataset of labeled images with the second dataset of images with pseudo-labels into a third dataset; training the model with the third dataset; and testing the model with a fourth dataset of labeled images and, upon determining that a requested performance is met, storing the model, or, upon determining that the requested performance is not met, executing the method again.

  • Publication number: 20240164572
Abstract: A beverage preparation machine includes a thermal conditioning device, such as a heater or cooler. The thermal conditioning device contains a control unit for controlling a start-up phase of the thermal conditioning device from a temperature of inactivity to an operative temperature. The control unit includes a controller with a start-up profile for starting-up the thermal conditioning device, and the start-up profile has at least one parameter. The controller has a self-learning mode for adjusting the at least one parameter. A temperature sensor is connected to the controller for measuring a temperature of the thermal conditioning device. The self-learning mode causes the controller during a start-up phase to: calculate a ramp value representative of a rate of change in temperature during the start-up phase of the thermal conditioning device; adjust the at least one parameter as a function of the adjusted ramp value; and use the adjusted at least one parameter for a remainder of the start-up phase.

  • Patent number: 6762497
Abstract: A method for fabricating an integrated circuit. According to the method, a second dielectric layer is formed above a first dielectric layer, and holes and/or trenches are etched in the first and second dielectric layers. The holes and/or trenches are filled with metal in order to form electrical connection elements, and at least a third dielectric layer is formed. Holes and/or trenches are selectively etched in the third dielectric layer and the second dielectric layer with respect to the first dielectric layer and the elements, in order to control the depth of the etch. Additionally, there is provided an integrated circuit of the type having metallization levels separated by dielectric layers and metallized vias connecting lines of different metallization levels. The integrated circuit includes first and second metallization levels, first and second superposed dielectric layers located above the first metallization level, and a third dielectric layer located above the first and second dielectric layers.
