Abstract: A mobile device includes a processing circuit and a network interface structured to communicate data over a network. The mobile device transmits an instance of user activity information to a remote computing system. The mobile device receives and implements, from the remote computing system, a time-limited budget restriction on a user payment account. The time-limited budget restriction is based on a user spending profile that is based on the instance of the user activity information as compared to a baseline level of user spending and a baseline activity characteristic.

Abstract: A mobile device includes a processing circuit and a network interface structured to communicate data over a network. The mobile device generates and transmits a request to register for an alert program to a remote computing system and the mobile device renders a registration interface comprising a prompt asking permission to access user activity information. In response to receiving permission, the mobile device transmits an indication of approval to a remote computing system. After transmitting approval, the mobile device transmits an instance of the user activity information to the remote computing system. In response to sending the instance, the mobile device receives and implements a time-limited budget restriction on a user payment account where the time-limited budget restriction is based at least in part on the instance of the user activity.

Abstract: Devices, kits, and methods of delivering a plurality of strips to a tissue defect site to promote covering and/or closure of the tissue defect are described. The kit may include a first medical device configured to push the plurality of strips housed therein through a distal opening and a second medical device defining a working channel for insertion of the first medical device. Methods may include introducing a distal portion of a medical device housing a plurality of strips that include a biocompatible material into a gastrointestinal tract, positioning the distal portion of the device proximate a target site of a tissue wall of the gastrointestinal tract that includes a defect, and applying the plurality of strips to the target site by pushing the plurality of strips out of a distal opening of the device.

Abstract: A system includes an adapter, a member and a clip which includes jaws connected to one another such that the jaws are movable between insertion and initial deployed configurations. The member is releasably coupled to the clip and movably connected to the adapter. The member includes a connector at a distal end thereof releasably engages an opening extending through a first jaw such that a longitudinal movement of the member relative to the adapter moves the clip between the insertion configuration, the deployed configuration and toward a review configuration. The member retracts the clip proximally over the adapter so that the clip is forced open as the clip is retracted over the adapter freeing the clip from tissue. The connector includes a deformable portion deforming to release the member from the first jaw toward a final deployed configuration when a distal force exceeds a predetermined threshold value.

Abstract: A radio headset device provided for receiving and reproducing a radio broadcast from a radio device in a high noise environment. The radio headset device comprises left and right earcups, a speaker mounted to each of the earcups, and a microphone mounted to each of the earcups for converting acoustic noise outside the earcup into a corresponding electric noise signal. The radio headset device further comprises a noise cancellation module electrically connected to the microphones and the speakers, and a radio connector provided on one of the left and right earcups for selectively electrically connecting the radio headset device to a radio device. The noise cancellation module receives the electric noise signal from the microphones and generates a noise cancellation signal acoustically reproduced by the speakers.

According to one aspect, audio output characteristics of a media delivery apparatus can be controlled based on whether a removable component is attached or detached. Another aspect pertains to improved techniques to attach a removable component to a media delivery apparatus. According to still another aspect a portion of a housing of an electrical device, such as a media delivery apparatus, can be utilized as part of a connector or plug.
