Abstract: A process for making a solid cosmetic composition comprising the steps of: forming at least one hot process stream comprising a solvent and a gellant dissolved therein, the hot process stream having a first temperature; forming at least one cold process stream comprising a cosmetic active having a second temperature lower than the first temperature; and combining the at least one hot process stream and the at least one cold process stream together in a mixing chamber.
