    Abstract: Disclosed is an exchangeable and wearable keepsake containing a volume of breath from a loved one, comprising a sealed capsule having an inlet aperture and an outlet aperture for forcing air into the capsule and retainment thereof. A method of gift exchange and capturing a quantity of breath is further disclosed, wherein a user forces air into a capsule as the air within the capsule is displaced, trapping a quantity of breath within the capsule indefinitely. A non-return valve is positioned in the inlet aperture and an outlet vent is positioned at the outlet aperture to allow air to exit the capsule control volume as incoming air is forced thereinto. The device is adapted to provide a memento or gift that allows a user to carry an article providing physical remembrance of lost or loved ones. The enclosure itself comprises a hollow structure that can take several ornamental forms.

Upon a user stepping down on the pedal, dual components of the pedal provide for the amount of cable within the foot pedal to be increased by a factor of two relative to the pedal travel distance. This in turn provides for the cable inside of the tank to be decreased by such amount for lifting a weight and actuating the internal flushing means within the toilet tank. Upon removing the user's foot from the foot pedal, the foot pedal, cable and weight are automatically reset to a starting position allowing the toilet to be reset to its original position for reuse.

    Abstract: An apparatus and method for flushing a toilet by foot that includes a foot pedal integral with a flushing system within a toilet base. When pressure is applied to the foot pedal, the flushing system is activated to generate an upward pressure that is applied to an underside of a flapper of a toilet tank for flushing the toilet. The flushing system may be a pressurized flushing system that includes a first pressurized cylinder connected by a pressurized line to a second pressurized cylinder. The second pressurized cylinder has a rod protected by a bellows seal, which when pressure is applied to the second pressurized cylinder, the rod is forced up against the flapper pushing up on the flapper to flush the toilet. Upon removing the user's foot from the foot pedal, the foot pedal and the pressurized flushing system are automatically reset for reuse.
