  • Publication number: 20220149619
Abstract: A power distribution system includes an electrical utility and at least one virtual power plant. The virtual power plant can be utilized and controlled in order to support the operations of the electrical utility. Upon determining an electrical need, the utility instructs the virtual power plant to make an energy adjustment by a scheduled time. The virtual power plant allocates the energy adjustment among the distributed energy resources of its fleet in order to achieve the energy adjustment by the scheduled time.

  • Patent number: 9678360
Abstract: Eyeglasses that include a frame and temple members, wherein the temple members are hinged to the frame by a resilient member and hinge structure so that the temple members are preferentially retained in open or closed position. In some embodiments, the resilient member and hinge structure act as a spring to restore temple members that have been over-extended to their preferred open orientation.

  • Patent number: 7150820
Abstract: An aqueous thiourea-free gold etching bath for electrolytically etching gold from a microelectronic workpiece. One embodiment of the aqueous thiourea-free bath contains: (a) about 0.5–1.5 M iodide; (b) about 0.1–0.3 M sulfite; and (c) about 1.0–3.0 g/L wetting agent. The bath is useful in a process for electrolytically etching gold from a microelectronic workpiece. A tool system in which the baths and processes of the present invention may be used is also described.
