  • Publication number: 20240119034
Abstract: A data migration and integration system is disclosed. In various embodiments, the system includes a memory configured to store a mapping from a source schema to a target schema; and a processor coupled to the memory and configured to migrate to a target schema an instance of source data organized according to the source schema, including by using a chase engine to perform an ordered sequence of steps comprising adding a bounded layer of new elements to a current canonical chase state associated with migrating the source data to the target schema; adding coincidences associated with one or more of the target schema data integrity constraints and a mapping from the source schema to the target schema; and merging equal elements based on the coincidences; and repeat the preceding ordered sequence of steps iteratively until an end condition is met.

  • Publication number: 20240119035
Abstract: A system and method are disclosed for merging multiple spreadsheets into one sheet, and/or exchanging data among the sheets, by expressing each sheet's formulae as an algebraic (equational) theory and each sheet's values as a model of its theory, and then performing one or more of “Kan-extension”, “psuedo-colimit”, and “lifting”, and constructions from category theory, to compute a canonically “universal” integrated theory and model, which can then be expressed as a spreadsheet and from which projections back to the sources are easily constructed.

  • Publication number: 20240109802
Abstract: A controller, process, and glass manufacturing apparatus can be configured to minimize defects. Embodiments can be adapted to control injection of nitrogen and/or argon and a mixture of nitrogen and hydrogen or nitrogen, hydrogen, and argon during glass float manufacturing to facilitate a pre-selected hydrogen concentration within a tin bath furnace while also minimizing glass surface defects that can be caused from tin condensation and tin bath impurity concentrations. Empirical use data can also be collected and provided to a pre-defined machine learning element of a host device to update a pre-defined control scheme of a controller for adapting the operational condition set points or other target values to account for furnace operation history and performance.

  • Patent number: 11496378
Abstract: Embodiments are directed to monitoring network traffic using a monitoring engine that monitors network traffic in networks to provide metrics. An inference engine may provide activity profiles based on portions of the network traffic where each activity profile includes features associated with the portions of network traffic. The inference engine may determine other activity profiles correlated with the activity profiles based on correlation models such that the determination of the other activity profiles occurs prior to monitoring an occurrence of other portions of the network traffic. The inference engine may modify monitoring actions of the monitoring engine based on the other activity profiles. The inference engine may provide reports based on the portions of the network traffic, the activity profiles, the other portions of the network traffic, or the other activity profiles.

Abstract: Methods and systems are provided herein for authenticating account holders using dynamic PINs. The methods may include receiving a transaction request from a vendor with the transaction request including a security number. The security number may be associated with an account holder. A dynamic PIN may be generated based at least in part on the time. The method may match the dynamic PIN to the security number associated with the account holder. The method may also include approving the transaction request from the vendor in response to the dynamic PIN matching the security number associated with the account holder. The method may further include the steps of generating a block including transaction information in response to the transaction request, broadcasting the block to a network for approval, adding the block to a blockchain in response to the approval, and generating the dynamic PIN.
