    Abstract: A mixing system for an exhaust system includes a first mixing device having a plurality of first auger blades and an inlet having a first cross-sectional area. A second mixing device is separate and downstream from the first mixing device and includes a second auger blade. The second mixing device includes an inlet having a second cross-sectional area greater than the first cross-sectional area. A flow path longitudinal centerline of the first mixing device extends at an angle to a flow path longitudinal centerline of the second mixing device. A flow path longitudinal centerline of the first mixing device intersects the second auger blade. The first mixing device is disposed within a first portion of an exhaust pipe and the second mixing device is disposed in a second portion of the exhaust pipe. The second portion has a larger cross-sectional area than the first portion.

    Abstract: One embodiment provides a method comprising maintaining a multi-dimensional data structure partitioned into cells utilizing a tree data structure (“tree”) comprising intervals for each dimension of a multi-dimensional space. To partition an interval for a node of the tree into multiple subintervals, multiple leaf nodes (“leaves”) are generated, each leaf descending from the node. To merge multiple intervals for multiple nodes of the tree, a parent node (“parent”) and multiple leaves descending from the parent are generated, the parent and the leaves are time constrained, and the leaves are scheduled for a merger. When transient data in cells included in a list that corresponds to a leaf scheduled for merger expires, each cell in the list is converted into a cell for inclusion in a different list corresponding to a parent of the leaf, each leaf of the parent removed, and the parent turned into a leaf.

The system includes an audio processor configured to receive a warning tone, geo-spatial coordinate data from the host platform, and the estimated relative location of origin of the threat, and to process the warning tone based on the geo-spatial coordinate data and the direction information to generate a directional audio warning signal. The system also includes a plurality of speakers configured to audibly project the directional audio warning signal to audibly identify the estimated relative location of origin of the threat, and a display control unit configured to display the estimated relative location of origin of the threat overlaid on a map.
