Abstract: The present technology pertains to experiential recordings in virtual environments, which enable users to capture and share immersive interactions. Unlike traditional streaming that offers only a visual perspective, experiential recordings document the state events and the user's movements and audio within the virtual world. This allows the original virtual experience to be reconstructed and shared, offering a view into the environment as initially experienced by the creator. The experiential recording involves capturing world state events that reflect the state of a world instance as experienced by a participatory user. The events are recorded over time with timestamps indicating when they were captured. This data is then sent to a client associated with a non-participatory user, allowing the non-participatory user to replay and experience the world instance as it was originally experienced by the participatory user.
