  • Patent number: 10145852
Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods and systems for detecting CD3 and CD16 in the same sample of a colorectal, head & neck, or lung tumor using immunohistochemical methods using primary antibodies from the same host species and secondary antibodies immunoreactive with antibodies of the host species of the primary antibodies. Methods to denature and block the first primary antibody contacted with the sample are provided.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 14, 2017
Date of Patent: December 4, 2018
    Assignee: VENTANA MEDICAL SYSTEMS, INC.

  • Patent number: 9874571
Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods and systems for detecting two different epitopes in the same sample using immunohistochemical methods using primary antibodies from the same host species and secondary antibodies immunoreactive with antibodies of the host species of the primary antibodies. Methods to denature and block the first primary antibody contacted with the sample are provided.

  • Patent number: 9689875
Abstract: The present application provides methods and systems for detecting both CD3 and CD16 in a sample using immunohistochemical methods, for example when the primary antibodies for CD3 and CD16 are from the same species (e.g., both rabbit antibodies). Methods to denature and block the first primary antibody contacted with the sample are provided.

  • Publication number: 20150241426
Abstract: This disclosure is directed to a method for detecting an infection within a suspension without having to directly detect the infectious agent or without having to wait until symptoms of infection are present within the host. Once a sample is obtained, infectious agent-specific antibodies conjugated with labeling molecules are added to the biological sample. The infection may be detectable despite the absence of the infectious agent during detection because antigens released by the infectious agent may still be present on or within a biological component of the sample. The sample may undergo imaging to detect the infection.

  • Publication number: 20100209914
Abstract: The present invention provides a method for evaluating multiple sclerosis (MS), or excluding MS as a diagnosis for a patient The method comprises determining a gene expression profile for a sample from such a patient. The gene expression profile, which contains gene expression values for a plurality of genes that are differentially expressed in white blood cells of MS patients, is compared to an MS-profile and/or a non-MS profile, and classified. The invention also provides a method for monitoring treatment of an MS patient Pre-treatment and post-treatment gene expression profiles contain gene expression values for a plurality of genes that are differentially expressed upon treatment of MS patients. The expression profiles may then be compared, to identify differences between pre-treatment and post-treatment gene expression. These differences are indicative of the patient's response to treatment The invention further provides kits and systems for performing the methods of the invention.
