Abstract: New advantageous compositions and methods for treatment of malignancies such as basel cell carcinoma and other skin cancers, brain tumors, head and neck cancer, kidney cancer, prostate cancer and other cancer types. The new compositions and methods may also be used for treatment of non-cancer problems such as dermatological diseases, sexual diseases, anti-fungal and antibacterial and wound healing. A new photodynamic therapy/sonodynamic therapy (PDT/SDT) combination approach using near infrared (NIR) tetrapyrrolic photosensitizers (PSs) with long wavelength absorption, in the range of 750-800 nm, that provides deeper tissue penetration. Such combinations may be postloaded onto PAA nanoparticles (NPs) for better delivery to a tumor site. A preferred sonodynamic compound is fullerene 60 but other sonodynamic compounds may be employed. The unique NP formulations of the invention can contain chemotherapeutic agents releasable by ultrasound in cancer or other hyperproliferative tissue.

In one embodiment, a system may include a processor configured to collect power plant operational data from power plant components. The power plant operational data may be analyzed to identify cost factors for the power plant components. Based at least in part on the power plant operational data and the cost factors, upgrade opportunities for the power plant components may be determined. Financial values may be calculated for the upgrade opportunities. Based at least in part on the financial values, recommendations may be generated using a product interaction database and provided as an electronic output to a user.

Abstract: A method and system for correcting a fault in a semiconductor manufacturing system is described. Fault correction for a service component is achieved using an interactive case study with a service operator. The interactive case study can identify one or more cases where the current service activity data substantially matches past service activity data, and utilize this correlation to assist the service operator in conducting the service component repair. If necessary, the interactive case study can identify one or more tests to perform in order to narrow down the number of matching cases. As tests are performed and results are retrieved by the interactive case study, the number of matching cases is reduced. For instance, the interactive case study can assist in identifying a manufacturing system part to replace in a manufacturing system tool in order to correct the problem.
