    Abstract: A method for identifying relationships between physical events occurring in one or more operational technology (OT) components of a system and information technology (IT) infrastructure that controls the system, the method including: collecting performance data from a number of sensors, each sensor associated with an asset in the system; analyzing the collected performance data to generate one or more performance data characteristics; collecting cyber event data related to cyber events occurring in assets of the system and analyzing the cyber event data to identify one or more identified cyber events; and correlating the performance data characteristics against the identified cyber events to determine one or more cyber-physical relationships between the performance data characteristics of the assets in the system and the identified cyber events.
