Patent number: 12138792Abstract: A dynamic messaging system for factory automation devices that provides flexible data transport, presentation and scheduling. Custom message instructions are provided to robot controllers using configuration templates which are loadable without rebooting the controller or affecting ongoing operations of the robot. The configuration templates contain data definitions only and no executable code. Custom data messages are sent from the robot controller based on triggers, including periodic timers, transmission of a current message, change of device elements and programmatic requests. Custom message attributes such as transmission rate and priority can be set, and messages may include file attachments. A message template creator, external to the robot controller, creates the configuration templates, ensures message uniqueness and generates data ingestion schema.Type: GrantFiled: March 4, 2020Date of Patent: November 12, 2024Assignee: FANUC AMERICA CORPORATIONInventors: Ashok Prajapati, Rick Wunderlich, Kenneth Krause, Isaac Eckert, Isaac Robinson Stephan Thangaiah Albert, Eric Flanagin

Patent number: 12121177Abstract: A dispenser for dispensing a selected volume of water at a specified temperature. The dispenser includes a source of water at an elevated temperature and a source of water at a lower temperature. An electronic controller determines the volume of water needed from each source in order to arrive at the selected volume and temperature. The dispenser uses a recirculation valve to circulate at least the elevated temperature water in the tank and in the outlet in order to ensure the temperature of the water is as expected throughout the system to achieve the specified temperature.Type: GrantFiled: October 29, 2020Date of Patent: October 22, 2024Assignee: Tea Unwrapped LLCInventors: Errin Whitney Gnadinger, Benjamin L. Martin, Robert L. Lewis, Jr., Grayson Paul Newland, Dean Paul Haviland, Max Bock-Aronson, Cheryl E. Watson, Dan Johnson, Eric Krause, Todd Matthew Squires

Patent number: 9181909Abstract: A fuel pump is disclosed. The fuel pump includes a housing. Further, the fuel pump includes a rotatable pump shaft disposed within the housing. One end of the rotatable pump shaft is attachable to a gear. The housing also includes a retainer disposed within the housing and located about the pump shaft. The retainer includes a first rim and a second rim that are spaced apart from each other. The retainer also includes a side wall extending between the first and the second rims. Further, the side wall of the retainer defines a first volume and a second volume within the housing. The side wall of the retainer has a plurality of apertures configured to allow a fluid flow from the first volume to the second volume while retaining particulate contaminants larger than a size of the apertures within the first volume.Type: GrantFiled: September 17, 2013Date of Patent: November 10, 2015Assignee: Caterpillar Inc.Inventors: John W. Unes, Eric Krause, Steven R. Meinhart, David C. Mack

Publication number: 20070067315Abstract: The present invention provides rich media presentations to a requesting device when required. Attributes of the requesting device are determined and used to create optimized code for the requesting device. The attributes may include information relating to the operating system of the requesting device; a media player; a bandwidth parameter; presence or absence of a firewall, permissions related to the requesting device, and the like. A virtual player is created that includes code to play media files. A presentation package is created that sets the presentation attributes for the multimedia experience. A media package is created that instructs the virtual player what multimedia content to play.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 21, 2006Publication date: March 22, 2007Applicant: Vendaria, Inc., F/K/A Broadcastzone, Inc.Inventors: Kiran Hegde, Raymond McGrath, Jason Kind, Eric Krause, Josiah DeWitt

Publication number: 20070036616Abstract: The present invention relates to mass confinement cells that may be used in retaining walls and earth retention systems that has a natural earthen appearance or other aesthetic design and is resistant to damage and wear caused by the environment. The mass confinement cells are generally light-weight and include a continuous chamber that at least partially aligns with confinement cells positioned above and below, thereby allowing the intermingling of fill material between adjacent cells. The mass confinement cells are capable of accepting and retaining any type of filling material. The filling material provides weight, stability and security to a retaining wall constructed of such mass confinement cells.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 10, 2006Publication date: February 15, 2007Applicant: NEW TECHNOLOGY RESOURCES, INC.Inventors: Edward Knudson, John Dolan, Robert Race, Timothy Bendell, Vishal Lokhande, Daniel Darst, Eric Krause

Publication number: 20070003380Abstract: The present invention relates to environment resistant landscaping products, such as retaining wall and earth retention products, edgers, paving stones and the like, that provide a natural earthen appearance, such as rock, stone, sand, soil, clay, wood, trees and foliage, water, or any other natural earthen appearance. The present invention also includes a mass confinement cell that may be used in retaining walls and earth retention systems that has a natural earthen appearance and is resistant to damage and wear caused by the environment. The mass confinement cells are generally light-weight and include a continuous chamber that at least partially aligns with confinement cells positioned above and below, thereby allowing the intermingling of fill material between adjacent cells. Publication number: 20060079170Abstract: A system to significantly improve the air quality in a personal breathing environment. The system includes a blower unit that produces a conditioned air flow, a delivery system that delivers air provided by the blower unit to a person's breathing zone, and a conduit that interconnects the blower unit and the delivery system for directing conditioned air from the blower unit to the delivery system. The delivery system is positioned so that it sends conditioned air around an individual's head and into the individual's personal breathing zone, thereby creating a zone of conditioned air around the individual's head.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 23, 2005Publication date: April 13, 2006Applicant: Halo Innovations, Inc.Inventors: William Schmid, Dean Hacker, Eric Krause
