  • Publication number: 20250204914
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a circular stapler. The circular stapler includes a stapling head assembly, an anvil detachably attachable to the stapling head assembly, and a handle assembly. The handle assembly includes a handle controller, a connector, and handle transceiver configured to wirelessly transmit a first signal to an external hub. The handle transceiver is separated from the handle controller and is in electrical communication with the handle controller via the connector.

  • Publication number: 20250204910
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a stapler system. The stapler system includes a disposable surgical stapler and a removable and reusable control attachment. The control attachment includes an energy source in electrical connection with a motor assembly in the disposable surgical stapler. The control attachment includes a controller in electrical communication with the motor assembly and configured to output a motor drive signal to the motor assembly such that the motor assembly drives at least a portion of the firing assembly.

  • Publication number: 20250174336
Abstract: Surgical systems and related computer-implemented methods are provided, including during performance of a surgical procedure on a patient, receiving, at a first surgical system, a first dataflow from a second surgical system, the first dataflow including first data regarding a measured patient parameter that the first surgical system is configured to use in performing a function during the performance of the surgical procedure. The computer-implemented methods including determining that a trigger event occurred during the performance of the surgical procedure such that a sum of a first bandwidth of the first dataflow and a second bandwidth of a second dataflow exceeds an available bandwidth, and in response to determining that the trigger event occurred, and during the performance of the surgical procedure, adjusting at least one of the first and second dataflows such that the sum of the first and second bandwidths does not exceed the available bandwidth.

  • Publication number: 20250134576
Abstract: Various exemplary systems, devices, and methods for testing electrosurgical generators are provided. In general, an electrosurgical generator is configured to generate energy and provide the energy to an electrosurgical instrument. In an exemplary embodiment, testing of an electrosurgical generator includes simulating a tissue load being electrosurgically treated in a surgical procedure. The simulated tissue load is simulated by a computer system that includes a circuit that has a plurality of states each corresponding to a different simulated tissue load. The circuit is configured to change between the plurality of states during the testing so as to simulate a plurality of different tissue loads.
