  • Publication number: 20060184853
Abstract: The method describes the operation of a roller blind including a moving element that can be operated via an actuator and a handheld-type remote control used to set the value of an operating parameter of the system, the value of this parameter being modifiable between two limit values. In this method, after a modification of the setting of the parameter value, an acknowledgement signal is sent, the acknowledgement signals differing according to whether the parameter value is or is not a limit value.

  • Publication number: 20050051283
Abstract: The motorized shutter, blind or sun-protection device comprises at least one roll-up element (2; 20), one end of which is kinematically linked to a roll-up element drive roller (1) and the other end of which is attached to pulling strands (3, 4; 15, 16; 22, 23) kinematically linked to a strand drive roller (1; 17, 18; 24, 25), at least one strand return roller (6; 19), and an elastic means (7; 29) keeping the roll-up element and the strands tensioned. It constitutes a balanced system.

  • Publication number: 20040163314
Abstract: A device of automated closure, and of locking, comprising a mobile closure or locking element (2), an actuator (3) electrically controllable for the motion of said element, a sensor (4), a programming and control device, the program of which comprises at least a mode of delayed action and a means of transition to that delayed action mode, wherein, when placed in the delayed action mode, the programming and control device delivers a complete closure instruction only on activation of a sensor.

  • Patent number: 6668982
Abstract: The device, inserted between a motor (9) and a load (11), allows the load (11) to be immobilized when power is not applied to the motor (9) and allows mechanical torque to be transmitted when power is applied to the motor (9). Such a device is produced by virtue of a juxtaposition of brake disks rotatably connected alternately to the drive shaft (8) and to a casing (10) containing the motor (9) by sliding connections, the end disks (1, 3) of the juxtaposition being rotatably connected on the drive shaft (8) and by virtue of means (4, 5) collaborating to separate these disks and transmit the mechanical torque. The architecture of the device allows the string of dimensions associated with the functional clearance between the means (4, 5) to be reduced and allows the force exerted by the spring (6) on the disk (1) to be reacted by the bearing.

Such a device is produced by virtue of a juxtaposition of brake disks connected alternately to the drive shaft (8) by pivoting connections and to a casing (10) containing the motor (9) by sliding connections, the end disks (1, 3) of the juxtaposition being in pivoting connection on the drive shaft (8) and by virtue of means (4, 5) collaborating to separate these disks and transmit the mechanical torque. The architecture of the device allows the string of dimensions associated with the functional clearance between the means (4, 5) to be reduced and allows the force exerted by the spring (6) on the disk (1) to be reacted by the bearing.

  • Patent number: 5709349
Abstract: A device for the roll-up of blinds or the like that has a tubular motor mounted in a roller tube. An automatic stop and a detector for detecting that the motor is blocked, causing the motor to be stopped. The automatic stop has a screw carrying a traveling nut restrained against rotation in a tubular housing. The motor is stopped by detecting blockage of the motor through the traveling nut or the end of a blind or the like coming against a stop. Adjustment is carried out by manually rotating the housing via the housing end cheek.

  • Patent number: 5699847
Abstract: Motorized device (2) for rolling up cords or tapes (13, 15) of Venetian or folded blinds, equipped with an automatic stopping device detecting a blockage of the motor. This automatic stopping device consists of a screw (6) carrying a traveling nut (7) rotationally retained in a tubular housing (9). Stoppage of the motor is caused by the detection of a blockage of the motor by the travelling nut (7) rotationally retained in a tubular housing (9). Stoppage of the motor is caused by the detection of a blockage of the motor by the travelling nut (7), or the blind, coming up against the casing. The bottom stopping point is adjusted by unblocking the cage (9) and rotationally driving it.

  • Patent number: 5645118
Abstract: The device has a winding drum (5) mounted fixedly in terms of translation in a frame (1) and to insure that the cord is wound in even turns without overlapping there is of a traveling nut (6) engaging with a screw thread formed on the winding drum and an eyelet for guiding (8) the cord at its entry into the frame (1). The nut moves between an end of the cord (7a) fixed to the drum and the guiding eyelet (8). In the traveling nut is furthermore advantageously mounted a retractable stop (13) controlled by the cord (7) in order to oppose the rotation of the drum in the direction of unwinding when the cord is slack.
