  • Patent number: 12594989
Abstract: The present concept relates to a compensation system (105) for compensating a trailer sway (107) of a vehicle trailer (110) for a towing vehicle (100). The compensation system (105) comprises a read-in interface (115) and a compensation device (120). The read-in interface (115) is designed to read in a vehicle yaw-rate signal (125) that represents a vehicle yaw-rate and/or a vehicle yaw-rate change of the towing vehicle (100). The compensation device (120) is designed to determine a superposition angle (200) for superposition on a rear-axle steering angle (130) of the towing vehicle (100), when at least the vehicle yaw-rate and/or the vehicle yaw-rate change is within a defined yaw-rate fluctuation range, and/or to emit the superposition angle in the form of a superposition angle signal (135) to a rear-axle steering device (140) of the towing vehicle (100), in order to enable the compensation of the trailer sway (107).

  • Patent number: 10017093
Abstract: A cargo lift for receipt by a receiver hitch according to one embodiment of the invention comprises a frame, a platform, a scissor lift mechanism, an actuator, a pair of pivot mechanisms, a pair of sliding guide members, a probe connector, and a cross bar. The scissor lift mechanism is positioned between the frame and the platform and is provided with the actuator. The pair of pivot mechanisms raises and lower the frame between ground level and receiver hitch level while maintaining the platform in a horizontal position. The pair of sliding guide members extends alongside the frame and attaches the frame to the pivot mechanisms. The probe connector is for a receiver hitch for carrying the cargo lift by a vehicle. The cross-bar is for attaching the pair of pivot mechanisms to the probe connector.

  • Publication number: 20100279273
Abstract: The present invention relates to methods of detection, as well as assays, reagents and kits for the specific detection of 15 clinically important respiratory viruses including influenza A and B viruses, human respiratory syncytial viruses, human metapneumoviruses, human enteroviruses, all serotypes of rhinoviruses, 7 serotypes of adenoviruses, parainfluenza viruses types 1, 2, 3, and 4, as well as coronaviruses NL, 229E, OC43, and SARS-CoV. The present invention allows for the detection of each of these respiratory viruses in a single assay.

  • Publication number: 20080217399
Abstract: A system and method for controlling usage of a payment card by a cardholder using a cardholder telephony device is provided. The cardholder registers the payment card and the cardholder telephony device and defines cardholder default limits for the card. During subsequent usage of the card, an authorization computing device connected to the cardholder telephony device by a network verifies that the default limits for the card are not exceeded. If the default limits are exceeded, then a cardholder authorization for the usage of the card must be provided by the cardholder form the cardholder telephony device. The cardholder may also pre-authorize usage of the card in excess of the default limits.
