  • Publication number: 20260061910
Abstract: An aisle armrest assembly for a passenger seat. The armrest assembly includes a static frame member defining a latch cavity, an armrest pivotally mounted to the static frame member and including a catch, and a latch assembly configured to latch the armrest in a deployed armrest condition. The latch assembly includes a transverse pivot shaft mounted through the latch cavity, a spring-loaded latch disposed in the latch cavity and pivotally mounted on the pivot shaft, and a torsion spring mounted on the pivot shaft configured to bias the spring-loaded latch toward a latched condition. I use, the latch may be released to allow the armrest to be moved to a stowed armrest condition.

  • Publication number: 20250242924
Abstract: A passenger seat including a frame subassembly including a fore transverse beam, and a seat pan movably coupled to the frame subassembly. A motion path of the seat pan relative to the frame subassembly includes at least one of rotational motion and translational motion. The fore end of the seat pan rests on and rides along the fore transverse beam such that the fore end of the seat pan is unconstrained to adjust in angle and forward translation as the seat pan moves relative to the frame subassembly. In embodiments, the seat pan is pivotably attached to be movable between a use position for seating and a use position for under seat access.

  • Publication number: 20250242923
Abstract: A passenger seat such an aircraft passenger seat configured to be part of a row of seats. The passenger seat includes a frame assembly including fixed spreaders, and a seat back and a seat bottom positioned between the fixed spreaders and pivotably attached at a shifting pivot. Upper and lower links, provided in a symmetrical arrangement on both sides of the seat, pivotably attach the seat back and the shifting pivot to the fixed spreaders in a manner such that the shifting pivot lowers and moves forward as the passenger seat transition from upright to reclined to provide a cradled recline seat motion.

  • Patent number: 11731766
Abstract: A device for securing passenger seat frame structures (e.g., seat spreaders, legs) to a lateral crossbeam includes a wedged clamping device insertable into a pocket directly adjacent to a passage allowing the crossbeam to pass through the seat frame structure. The wedged clamping device has an upper face providing a locking taper angle and a lower arcuate face opposite the upper face and in contact with the crossbeam. When inserted into the pocket, the wedged clamping device provides a clamping force securing the seat frame structure to the crossbeam without driving a bolt through, deforming, or otherwise compromising the integrity of the crossbeam. The wedged clamping device accepts a tuning bolt through a lateral face; tightening the tuning bolt can more precisely control the amount of clamping force provided on the crossbeam.

  • Patent number: 10946967
Abstract: A seat assembly including a first armrest having a first lateral side and a first mounting panel pivotally attached to the first lateral side, and a second armrest having a second lateral side facing the first armrest, and a second mounting panel pivotally attached to the second lateral side. The mounting panels are pivotable between stowed positions and deployed positions. A bridge table is removably positionable between the first and second armrests and has a first lateral side for mounting upon the first mounting panel and a second lateral side for mounting upon the second mounting panel, each lateral side including a respective engagement feature for releasably engaging one of the mounting panels. When not in use, the bridge table stores within a box attachable below a seat position of the seat assembly.
