  • Publication number: 20110197331
Abstract: Body form-fitting rainwear, comprising: a fabric layer and a stretch knit layer, and at least one air permeable, polymer treated waterproof layer between, the three layers formed into the rainwear.
    Type: Application
    Filed: April 25, 2011
    Publication date: August 18, 2011
    Inventor: Eric M. Reynolds
  • Patent number: 7930767
Abstract: A body form-fitting rainwear is provided. In the rainwear a first waterproof layer comprises a polymer material treated with an oleophobic composition to form an air permeable polymer material. The first waterproof layer couples to a first fabric layer. The first fabric layer faces the body and couples to a first side of the first waterproof layer. A second fabric layer couples to a second side of the first waterproof layer. A stretch knit couples to the second fabric layer, the stretch knit being constructed to pull the rainwear to the body. The first waterproof layer, first fabric layer, second fabric layer and stretch knit are formable about a human body and are constructed to accommodate one or more human appendages. The rainwear may for example form a shirt, pant, underwear, long underwear, hat hood or one piece body suit.

The first waterproof layer couples to a first fabric layer. The first fabric layer faces the body and couples to a first side of the first waterproof layer. The first waterproof layer and first fabric layer are formable about a human body and are constructed and arranged to accommodate one or more human appendages. The rainwear may for example form a shirt, pant, underwear, long underwear, hat, hood or one-piece body suit.

  • Patent number: 7162746
Abstract: A non-terminated, multi-aperture body form-fitting rainwear is provided. In the rainwear, a first waterproof moisture vapor permeable hydrophobic layer couples to a first fabric layer. The first fabric layer faces the body and couples to a first side of the first waterproof moisture vapor permeable hydrophobic layer. The first waterproof moisture vapor permeable hydrophobic layer and first fabric layer are formable about a human body and are constructed and arranged with multiple apertures to accommodate, without termination, two or more human appendages. The rainwear may for example form a shirt, pant, underwear, long underwear and a one-piece body suit.

  • Patent number: 5580447
Abstract: An efficient, low pressure drop biocide cartridge is provided for destroying viral and bacterial pathogens in water from untreated water sources along a lengthened flow pathway including a critical plenum for controlling the speed of water throughput. In a first pathway, water is percolated through a turbulatable bed of biocidally-effective material. In flow pathway, channeling and pressure drop are reduced by radial flow across a columnar bed presenting a large surface area at an outer diameter. The cartridge may be connected with a lightweight hand-held pump. A sealing strap is provided for wet storage of any biocide cartridge.
