  • Publication number: 20250028765
Abstract: A computer-implemented system and method for analyzing clusters of coded documents is provided. Clusters of documents are displayed and at least a portion of the documents are each associated with a classification code. A representation of each document is provided based on the associated classification code or an absence of the associated classification code. A search query with search terms is received. Each search term is associated with one of the classification codes. Those documents that satisfy the search query are identified and the representations of the identified documents are changed based on the classification codes associated with the search terms. The change in representation provides an indication of agreement between the classification code of such document and the classification codes of the search terms, or an indication of disagreement between the classification code of the document and the classification codes of the search terms.

  • Publication number: 20150195242
Abstract: A computer-implemented system and method for creating and visualizing a social network are provided. A social network is created based on a traffic pattern of messages exchanged between two or more entities. A sender and a recipient of each exchanged message in the set are identified as the entities. A link is created between the identified sender and recipient for each exchanged message. A representation of the social network is generated by representing each of the entities via a node, selecting one of the nodes within the social network, and arranging the nodes of the unselected entities relative to the selected node and based on the links. One of a positive and negative position of each of the unselected entity nodes from the selected node is identified.

  • Patent number: 8982728
Abstract: A computer-implemented system and method for visualizing message-related relationships within a social network is provided. Entities associated with a group of messages are identified. A social network is built based on a relationship of the entities and messages by connecting those entities that share at least one of the messages from the group. A representation of the social network is generated by representing each message with a node. The nodes are organized based on at least one characteristic of the messages.

  • Patent number: 8400944
Abstract: A system and method for displaying message-related relationships is provided. Messages are analyzed by identifying entities associated with each message, wherein the entities include senders and recipients of the messages and by accumulating a number of messages communicated between each sender and each recipient. A social network is created by connecting one or more of the senders and recipients via a link based on the number of messages communicated between that sender and that recipient. A semantic network is generated from concepts of the messages. The social network and the semantic network are simultaneously displayed.

  • Patent number: 8228821
Abstract: A system and method for generating graphical representations of message-related relationships is provided. Messages exchanged between at least two entities are analyzed. Data elements are extracted from the messages. Concepts are identified based on the extracted data elements. A social network is created based on the exchanged messages. Each entity is represented by a node. One or more links are created between at least two of the nodes. Each link represents the messages exchanged between the entities represented by the at least two nodes. A representation of the social network is provided. The concepts associated with the exchanged messages are displayed with the social network.

  • Patent number: 7606168
Abstract: Electronic data files are broadly characterized as “messages” and a social network is constructed by analyzing one or more messages exchanged between various entities. Additionally, messages from structured and/or unstructured data stores are correlated using one or more common/related data elements from two or more messages. Further, the social network and the concepts contained in the exchanged messages (i.e. semantic network) can be visualized using a series of multi-aspect viewing tools. Finally, in conjunction with the social network and the semantic network, a message network based on the chronological relationship of the messages (event network) can be constructed to analyze and visualize how the messages relate to each other in a time-based reference model. Once visualized, the relationship of the concepts contained in the messages as well as the relationship between the entities and the timing involved in the exchange of messages can be analyzed for desired information.
