Abstract: A differential carrier in accordance with the invention comprises a rotatable housing and permanent differential locking members installed within cavities of the housing. The locking members have locking holes with teeth that immovably link the locking members with the drive axle shafts. The locking members also include locking protrusions projecting from the locking members with the locking protrusions mechanically engaging the housing such that the locking members rotate simultaneously with rotation of the housing, whereby the locking members cause the axle shafts to rotate such that oppositely disposed wheels mounted on the axle shafts simultaneously and continuously rotate.
