    Abstract: A method of generating customizable goal representation is disclosed. A request from a user to view a goal representation is received. A flexible goal ontology is accessed that comprises one or more goal entities, one or more goal relationships between the goal entities, or one or more goal properties, the one or more goal properties including one or more metadata attributes relating to the one or more goal entities. A set of mapping rules is obtained that defines mappings between one or more goals. The set of mapping rules is evaluated to assemble a customized goal representation tailored to the user. The customized goal representation is updated based on a revaluation of the mapping rules affected by changes to the one or more goal entities, the one or more goal relationships, or the one or more properties.

    Abstract: A method and system for enhancing e-commerce transactions by placing product marketing information in front of targeted potential customers by analyzing the product, mapping it to one or more product categories, creating dynamic e-commerce Web sites for the product, selecting appropriate e-commerce marketplaces based on previous placement results and client-product objectives, placing the created e-commerce Web site on the appropriate e-commerce marketplaces, collecting data based on activity on the placed Web sites, and updating either or both of the created dynamic e-commerce Web sites or the e-commerce marketplace selection criteria. This invention also manages the transactions associated with the e-commerce facilitated by the process of placing the product information on the selected marketplaces. An e-mail manager is also provided to communicate with buyers and potential buyers as well as product clients.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for automatic price monitoring of an online marketplace. The online marketplace is a virtual store (e.g., web-based) for buyers and sellers to exchange goods or products. A system includes a price monitoring module coupled to a market server, and buyer and seller devices. The price monitoring module retains a position garnered by a seller with the lowest price by periodically adjusting a subscribing seller's listing price to beat competing seller prices. The price monitoring module can be configured according to price parameters which gauge how much sellers are willing to concede. The price parameters can include, for example, a default listing price for a product, a decrement amount, a minimum listing price, and the like.

    Abstract: An online trade-in system comprises: a pricing guide module, an affiliates module, a marketplace listing module, a trade-in website module, a transaction processing module, an inventory handling module, a database and a marketplace manager. The marketplace manager creates an online trade-in system that accesses the other modules to complete a trade-in transaction. The pricing guide module is used to define the items that are acceptable by the merchant for trade-in as well as a price for each item. The marketplace manager uses information from the pricing guide module and provides it to the transaction processing module along with user input to begin and create a trade-in transaction. The marketplace manager uses also controls the inventory handling module to generate a reverse logistic label that can be used by the user to send the trade-in goods back to the merchant, and track the trade-in goods as well as initiate the process to list the item on an online marketplace.
