  • Patent number: 9407638
Abstract: Systems and methods for trusted mobile communications are described. A network system provisions a mobile client system with a collection of security parameters on a per application basis and a per device basis. The airplane system provides access to the mobile client system based on the established chain of trust without previously having information about the mobile client system even when the mobile client system and the airplane system are offline with respect to the network system.

  • Patent number: 7953110
Abstract: A method and system are provided for executing a protocol for tunneling of transmission control protocol/internet protocol (TCP/IP) packets over a tactical link. The tunneling protocol includes interfacing to a host software on a node of a tactical network using a TAP interface; breaking up ethernet packets from the TAP interface into J16.0 messages that include payload data from the ethernet packet and header information that uniquely identifies the J16.0 message for deterministic reassembly of the ethernet packet from the stream of J16.0 messages in which it is included. The J16.0 messages may be transmitted using a fighter data link over a tactical network link. At the destination node of the link, the J16.0 messages may be reassembled into ethernet packets, allowing the tactical network to be implemented as virtual private network having (internet protocol) IP addresses for each node.

  • Publication number: 20070235584
Abstract: A method of coordinating communications between a plurality of Unmanned Air Vehicles (UAVs) operating in connection with differing communication languages. A common language is provided which includes common language commands and common language data objects. Common language commands are communicated from a user to a plurality of UAVs through a UAV Interoperability Agent (UIA), which converts the common language commands to UAV-specific commands which can be understood by the specific UAV. Additionally, UAVs send data in a native platform format to the UIA, which converts the native platform data to common language format for collection and interpretation by the user.

  • Publication number: 20050282527
Abstract: Methods, systems, and articles of manufacture consistent with the present invention provide a first data processing system access to a network via a second data processing system. An object is sent to the second data processing system, which object when instantiated on the second data processing system implements a network access program that can subscribe to information from the network and publish information to the network. Subscribed to information is received from the second data processing system.

  • Patent number: 6618629
Abstract: A circuit-board-processing line (10) employing various circuit-board-processing machines (12, 14, 16, 18, 62, 64, and 66) includes SMEMA-device emulators (22 and 68) interposed in the SMEMA channels between successive board-processing machines. Coordination circuitry (24) receives from those emulators reports of the signals that they observe, and it controls various line machinery and other emulators in response. It similarly controls the emulators in response to information that it receives from various board-processing machines. In this way, the system is able to provide reporting and control features that the board-processing machines do not provide inherently.

  • Patent number: 4464877
Abstract: A method for assembling multi-unit, party wall residential buildings employs fire-resistant structural panels which are manufactured off-site and installed in the structure as completed party walls. The individual units are assembled side-by-side and thereafter the factory-assembled, fire-resistant party wall panels are introduced into the building covering the contiguous walls of the individual units. Satisfactory fire ratings for the resulting buildings can be achieved. The fire-resistant wall sections are fabricated from a frame which is covered with fire-resistant panels on both surfaces and filled with acoustical insulation.
