  • Publication number: 20110258166
Abstract: In accordance with one embodiment of the disclosed technology, inconsistencies are detected between various records relating to data that has been associated with an identification tag. Data packages associated with the inconsistencies may then be removed. In accordance with another aspect of the disclosed technology, requests relating to data packages associated with inconsistencies in the various stored records are identified and removed. The disclosed technology may be implemented in data warehouses.

  • Publication number: 20070282270
Abstract: A composite guidewire comprising a proximal wire segment having a proximal end, a distal end and a longitudinal axis extending therebetween, the distal end being formed with a first flat planar bonding face which extends parallel to the longitudinal axis, the proximal wire segment having a first elasticity; a distal wire segment having a proximal end, a distal end and a longitudinal axis extending therebetween, the proximal end being formed with a second flat planar bonding face which extends parallel to the longitudinal axis, the distal wire segment having a second elasticity; wherein the first and second flat planar bonding faces of the proximal wire segment are formed complementary to one another; and further wherein the proximal and distal wire segments are joined together by bonding the first flat planar bonding face to the second flat planar bonding face in an overlapping manner and a method for forming a composite guidewire.

  • Publication number: 20050253680
Abstract: A temperature-controlled actuator has a housing (12) with a proximal end and a moveable distal portion. A core-wire (16) extends along the housing, with its distal section anchored to the distal portion of the housing. The core-wire's distal section has an austenite state and a martensite state. The distal section moves the distal portion by transitioning between the austenite and martensite states in response to a temperature change along a thermometric section (22, 24) of the core-wire. A proximal section in mechanical communication with the core-wire's distal section transmits tension, provided by a tensioning element (20), to the distal section. The tensioning element, which is coupled to the proximal section of the core-wire, constantly applies a tensioning force to the core-wire.

  • Patent number: 6898732
Abstract: A computing device having multiple masters. The device includes a set of masters and at least one target with at least one bus that provides connecting between the masters and the target. A system controller operates to quiesce masters selected from the set of masters in response to an error message. A system error processor handles the error condition after the selected masters have been quiesced.

  • Patent number: 5969705
Abstract: Method and apparatus for a first process operative in a computer system controlling a user interface on a computer system display under control of a second process operative in the computer system. An event handler is installed for the second process, the event handler servicing events generated for controlling the user interface display under control of the second process. The first process may then perform a first set of functions in the computer system. The first process generates events for controlling the user interface display, the events related to the functions performed by the first process. The event handler receives the events generated by the first process and updates the user interface on the computer system display according to the events generated by the first process and received by the event handler.

  • Patent number: 5754178
Abstract: A method and apparatus for improved user interaction and feedback on a computer system display. Interapplication dragging upon a user interface display is provided allowing a user to select a first item in a first window and move that first item to a second window which is under control of second process. Feedback is provided in the second window under control of the second process if the second application program can accept the data. In addition, other improved user interface actions are described, such as improved selection feedback, improved navigation, and improved completion feedback.
