  • Patent number: 11293420
Abstract: The invention concerns a suction silencer (1) for an encapsulated refrigerant compressor, with an inlet (5), an outlet (6), a damping chamber (7) connecting the inlet (5) and the outlet (6) for sound attenuation, and an equalization chamber connected to the damping chamber (7) for equalizing the pressure of the damping chamber (7), wherein the suction silencer (1) is provided in the operating position for integration in a compressor housing (20) of the refrigerant compressor having a bottom area (21) for reception of an oil sump (26). To ensure a continuous pressure equalization between the damping chamber (7) and the environment even during start-up of the refrigerant compressor, it is intended in accordance with the invention that the equalization chamber is designed as a first equalization chamber (11) with a first opening (9) for pressure equalization and the suction silencer (1) has a further, second equalization chamber (14) with a second opening (10) for pressure equalization.

  • Publication number: 20210069818
Abstract: A guard for a welding gun having a trigger and a body includes a plate having two elongated sides, two ends, a front, and a back, and a first pair of flanges extending from the elongated sides of the plate and forming a first open channel with the back of the plate. A biasing member is secured to the back of the plate. The plate is pivotally secured to the welding gun body by fasteners engaging the first pair of flanges and the welding gun body, and at least a portion of the back of the plate overlies the welding gun trigger. A user may only activate the gun by applying enough pressure to the plate to engage the trigger. When the user is not applying the required pressure, the spring-biasing mechanism prevents the trigger from being pressed.

  • Patent number: 10019697
Abstract: A method is disclosed for offering transaction account consumers with payment term options to pay a minimum amount due early, defer payment into the following payment cycle, and pay a standard amount when due. When generating a periodic billing statement, the invention determines a consumer's eligibility to elect early payment, deferred payment, and regular payment. When a consumer is eligible for early payment, a received payment is compared to a discount rate tier, then a discount amount is calculated and credited to the consumer's account. When the consumer is eligible for deferred payment, the system calculates a new current minimum payment due by multiplying the current non-deferred balance by a predetermined percentage amount and adding the result to the deferred balance. When the consumer is not eligible for deferred payment, the system calculates a new current minimum due by summing the current non-deferred balance with the deferred balance.
