  • Patent number: 10239387
Abstract: A sun visor retention system includes a vehicle that has at least one sun visor. The at least one sun visor has a support bar and a panel that is rotatably coupled to the support bar. A retainer is removably coupled to the at least one sun visor. The retainer selectively frictionally engages the support bar. The retainer engages the panel such that the retainer retains the panel at a selected angle of rotation about the support bar.
    Type: Grant

  • Patent number: 8864820
Abstract: A coating and a method of coating an implantable medical device, such as a stent, is disclosed. The coating compensates for regions of higher stress and resulting strain due to the geometry of the device. Certain embodiments may include a nonuniform coating on the device in which a strain on the nonuniform coating is less than a strain on a uniform coating when the device is placed under an applied stress during use. Other embodiments may include a coating with a greater resistance to strain on higher strain regions of the device.

  • Patent number: 8806842
Abstract: A frangible blister packaging for mixing and dispensing fluid at point of use. A multi-compartment force activated container formed by sealing a lidding closure material over formed fluid filled independent containment cavities interconnected by a pressure release frangible sealing area there between. A mixing flow path is initiated by compression on the upstream flexible compartment, forcing content fluid to mix into the downstream compartment for dispensing therefrom. The frangible sealing area is formed independently of the container compartment sealing assuring a force fluid transfer stream projection for maximum fluid inter-mixing before dispensing by compression of upstream compartment.
