  • Publication number: 20160260294
Abstract: In playing multiple hands of baccarat, indication of a first wager and a first selection by a user is received, the first selection for a player win, a banker win or a tie for a first hand of baccarat. Indication of a second wager and a second selection by the user is received, the second selection for a player win, a banker win or a tie for a second hand of baccarat. Input by the user is received, to deal the first hand and the second hand based on the respective first wager and second wager, and on the respective first selection and second selection. In response to the received user input, the first hand and the second hand of baccarat are dealt. • Patent number: 8184830
Abstract: A power amplifier that can provide electrical isolation between an input signal and an amplified output signal avoids isolation between the amplifier output and the load to reduce complexity, component count, cost and size over prior power amplifiers. The power amplifier avoids the use of a power transformer to provide electrical isolation, while maintaining electrical isolation between the amplifier and the input signal to satisfy regulatory requirements. A power converter in the amplifier may be directly connected to input power lines, and provide power factor correction and voltage bus regulation to supply appropriate power to the amplifier. The input signal may be electrically isolated from the amplifier through any suitable isolation including optical isolation or magnetic isolation.

  • Patent number: 5601610
Abstract: An external defibrillator high voltage circuit with a leakage prevention circuit. The high voltage circuit includes first and second output terminals configured for electrical interconnection to electrodes, first and second charge supply terminals configured for interconnection to a charging voltage supply, and a plurality of capacitors. Charging semiconductor switches which are responsive to charge control signals electrically interconnect the capacitors to the charge supply terminals in a parallel circuit to charge the capacitors. Discharging semiconductor switches which are responsive to discharge control signals electrically interconnect the capacitors in a series circuit between the output terminals to generate defibrillation pulses. The discharging switches include at least two switches interconnected to each other at a leakage shunting node and in a series circuit between one of the capacitors and the second output terminal.

  • Patent number: 5265588
Abstract: A battery powered cardioverter or defibrillator employing output capacitors for delivery of cardioversion or defibrillation pulses. The capacitors are charged by means of a step-up transformer, coupled and uncoupled from the battery by means of a voltage controlled oscillator which varies its off and on times as a function of the voltage on the battery and the voltage stored on the output capacitor to allow for rapid charging of the capacitor even under conditions of battery depletion. The voltage controlled oscillator is constructed to provide a highly accurate timing signal with a low current drain.

  • Patent number: 4848360
Abstract: A device for preventing snoring of a sleeping person comprises an arrangement (5-9) for detecting snoring sounds and an apparatus (17) controlled by this arrangement and adapted to influence the person to stop snoring. The arrangement has a sound-receiving microphone (5) and at least one frequency filter (6, 8), arranged to deliver signals deriving from sounds with frequencies typical for snoring sounds in order to determine if the present sound derives from snores. The arrangement further comprises a circuit (10-14) for determining if the signals delivered by the microphone are periodically appearing at time intervals, which are typical for snores. The circuit comprises a counter (13) which is arranged to count the number of snores. The arrangement (5-14) of the device is adapted to send activating control pulses to the apparatus when the counter (13) has detected a predetermined number of successive snores with the time intervals.
