  • Patent number: 10452561
Abstract: Aspects are directed to a start-up or recovery method and a central processing unit (CPU) architecture. In one example, the CPU architecture includes read-only memory (ROM) storing instructions addressable by a first range of physical memory addresses, random access memory (RAM), a direct memory access (DMA) engine, the DMA engine controllable to transfer the instructions from the ROM to RAM, the instructions addressable by a second range of physical memory addresses at the RAM, a memory management unit configured to translate a range of virtual addresses to the first range while in ROM, and translate the range of virtual memory addresses to the second range while in RAM, and a CPU to execute a DMA interrupt service routine to update the memory management unit to translate the range of virtual addresses to the second range of physical memory addresses while the DMA engine transfers the instructions to RAM.

  • Publication number: 20170151860
Abstract: A vehicle enclosure (14) and method and system of installation using an adhesive-backed attachment device (1) having a base (4) with an adhesive backing (10) and a stud (12) or a socket (2) that engages a conventional a conventional snap (8). The adhesive-backed attachment device is preferably flexible so that it may be attached to uneven surfaces of a vehicle, such as a golf cart (15). The adhesive-backed attachment device eliminates unsightly brackets, drilling or screwing into the golf cart and cuts down on installation time of golf cart enclosures. The studs and sockets may also be integrated into a new roof (14) for retrofitting an existing golf cart.

  • Patent number: 8108745
Abstract: A method of functionally verifying a device under test having at least one processor and at least one memory is disclosed. The method includes creating verification data for the device under test using a constrained random verification data creation process executed on the at least one processor. The verification data includes input data and expected output data. The method further includes storing the verification data in the at least one memory. The method further includes processing the input data with the at least one processor to produce actual output data. The method further includes comparing the actual output data to the expected output data. When the actual output data does not equal the expected output data, the method further includes storing at least one inconsistency between the actual output data and the expected output data.
