  • Patent number: 7519830
Abstract: A secure memory system binds an encrypted first data value stored in a memory with a state of the memory by selecting, at random, an address in the memory and mixing a second data value, stored at the address, with a hash value of the first data value to produce a split value. The address, split value and first data value are encrypted and stored in the memory. To detect tampering of the memory, the encrypted address is decrypted and the corresponding value read from the memory and used to recover a hash value from the decrypted split value. The recovered hash value is then compared with the original hash value.

  • Patent number: 6987853
Abstract: A method and apparatus for generating a group of non-repetitive, difficult-to-guess character sets is disclosed. The method includes (a) generating a request for a character set by a client of a character-generating server, (b) sending the request to the character-generating server, (c) generating a pseudo random number required by the character generator; (d) sending the pseudo random number to the character generator; (e) generating a character for the character set by the character generator, (f) sending the character set along with a related key to the client; (g) sending the character set along with the related key to a target server, (h) sending related key to the character-generating server by the target server; (i) re-creating the character set from the related key by the target server; and (j) sending the character set along with the related key to the target server.

  • Publication number: 20030065701
Abstract: This invention provides a multi-process web server architecture, which comprises an Internet connection, a first process connecting to a guest through the Internet connection, and a second group of processes connecting to the first process. This invention also provides a method, which comprises receiving a first request from a client process by a first server process, processing the first request by the first server process to generate a first result, assigning the first request to a second server process based on the first result, the second server process being one of a group of second server processes, receiving the first request by the second server process, processing the first request by the second server process based on a second group of factors to generate a second result, sending the second result directly back to the client process, and receiving the second result by the client process.

  • Publication number: 20020184303
Abstract: An embedded web server, which is capable of managing dynamic content delivery of data stream, audio stream, or video stream, comprises a microprocessor, a memory, a network port, a dynamic internet streaming engine, a security key generating application which is capable of generating security keys, an embedded web server housing which houses said microprocessor, said memory, said network port, said dynamic internet streaming engine, and said security key generating application, and an object-oriented language which is understood and used by said embedded web server.
