Abstract: A system is provided that comprises an inlet fluid conduit, an outer frame, and an inner frame coupled to the outer frame via at least one mass measurement device, where the inner frame includes an opening. A bi-directional scale is pivotally connected to the inner frame along an axis of rotation, where the bi-directional scale comprises filter media positioned between a first material receiving receptable and a second material receiving receptable. The first material receiving receptacle is configured to receive a fluid mixture from the inlet fluid conduit. The system comprises a separator pivoting system coupled to the bi-directional scale.
