  • Patent number: 10530289
Abstract: A mechatronic assembly drives a member intended to be linked to a DC electrical power source and to an ECU control unit. The ECU includes a computer for executing a feedback control algorithm delivering an item of direction and torque information. The assembly includes an actuator formed by a brushless polyphase electric motor having N phases, binary detection probes for detecting the position of the rotor of the motor, an electronic circuit comprising a power bridge for powering the N phases of the motor. It further includes an onboard electronic control circuit without a microcontroller, computer and memory of which the input receives the item of direction and torque information from the ECU and of which the output controls the power bridge directly modulating the current of the DC electrical power source applied to each of the phases of the motor, and the torque and direction information provided by the ECU is separate from the power signal delivered only by the power source.

  • Patent number: 7432682
Abstract: A stop-detection method intended for a multi-phase synchronous geared motor that is controlled in a stepping mode, which measures the sum of the currents circulating in each of the N phases of the geared motor. In the method the stop detection threshold is calculated in relation to the change in the sum of the currents.

  • Publication number: 20050206333
Abstract: A method is used for controlling a synchronized operation of at least two polyphase electric motors. Each motor includes a stator provided with electric coils and a rotor having N pairs of poles which are radially magnetized in an alternate direction. The method is characterized in that the position of the rotor of motors is determined with the aid of a detection; mechanism; one-time power supply sequencing for phases of the motors is defined with the aid of a logical synchronization electronic device: and the defined power supply sequencing is identically applied to the coils of the motors phases with the aid of a power electronic mechanism. A driving device for carrying out the method is also disclosed.
