  • Patent number: 11625264
Abstract: Mobility service providers and others can use cloud platforms to meet customer demand. Due to changing demand or changing technology numerous issues arise. For example, server utilization within the cloud platform can become less efficient over time. As another example, virtual machines and virtual network functions processed by the cloud platform typically need to be extensively tested and certified, which can be expensive. Moreover, intra-platform communication can play a significant role in the costs to operate a cloud platform. Techniques detailed herein can address many of these issues, e.g., by providing mechanisms for increasing host or server utilization in response to changing demand, introducing a container technique for virtual machines to mitigate testing costs, and modeling bandwidth resources.

  • Publication number: 20190343243
Abstract: The present invention discloses a versatile design system which has a base board, a face board, each board having a surface with at least one integrated securing mechanism. The securing mechanisms are made up an opposing end and a receiving end. Such securing mechanisms has either snap sockets, snap studs or alternate snap together mechanisms. The base board or surface may act as a wallboard wherein a plurality of face board attachments can easily be attached and removed without the use of tools, glue or other permanent bonding method. The present invention allows for a variety of components both decorative and functional with integrated snap studs or snap sockets or alternate snap together mechanisms.

  • Patent number: 9912583
Abstract: An example involves determining a first cost associated with assigning routing information for a subset of virtual private networks (VPNs) to a first subset of linecards of a router by determining a cost as a sum of: a first product of (1) a first number of routes associated with a first VPN of the first subset of the VPNs and (2) a number of the linecards included in the first subset of the linecards; and a second product of (1) a second number of routes associated with a second VPN of the first subset of the VPNs and (2) the number of the linecards included in the first subset of the linecards. The first subset of the linecards is configured with routing information for the first subset of the VPNs when the first subset of the VPNs is assigned to the first subset of the linecards based on the cost.
