Abstract: An electrical switching apparatus for housing a pair of opposing circuit breakers includes a panelboard having a first longitudinal axis and configured to support the pair of opposing circuit breakers to define a gap therebetween, the gap having a second longitudinal axis extending generally parallel to the first longitudinal axis. An insulative barrier is arranged to define a plenum region having a third longitudinal axis, and is operatively disposed in the gap, wherein the third longitudinal axis extends generally parallel to said second longitudinal axis.

Abstract: Laminates comprising at least two glass plys surrounding at least one interlayer having at least one bore extending through the laminate are produced by excluding the interlayer from the area surrounding the bore(s) and positioning a load bearing insert around the bore. The insert may be positioned before or after the laminating process. The invention reduces the tendency for delamination around the area of the bore when the laminate is placed under load.

The units preferably comprise a fixing assembly wherein the boss is formed from two interlocking parts. The two part boss facilitates the assembly of the units and serves to support the weight of the unit.

Abstract: A glass laminate assembly comprises two glass sheets 11,12 with an interlayer of cured resin 17 formed by a cast-in-place process. An aperture 15 for an attachment device 13 is formed in at least one of the glass sheets and a resilient adhesive sealing tape 16 is formed between the faces of the glass sheets 11 and 12 surrounding the hole 15.
