  • Patent number: 11865658
Abstract: A system for reprofiling a wheel set of a railway vehicle allows the center of rotation of the wheel set to move relative to supporting rollers. A cutting tool used to reprofile the wheel profile on a wheel set is moved relative to the center of rotation of the wheel set to maintain a constant distance between the center of rotation and the cutter. The rollers are maintained in a fixed position during the cutting process. The system avoids mechanically forcing a constant location of the wheel set relative to the center of rotation.

Date of Patent: January 9, 2024
    Assignee: NSH USA Corporation

  • Patent number: 7434534
Abstract: A trim assembly for a windshield includes a trim piece extendable along an edge of the windshield and a gasket secured within the trim piece and including a first channel for receiving the edge of the windshield and a second channel separate from the first channel. A fastener clip is secured in the second channel of the gasket and includes one part of a releasable fastener. By providing a dedicated channel for receiving the fastener clip, a more secure connection can be achieved.

  • Patent number: 4415071
Abstract: A control unit affixed to an adjustable stand mounted on a platform on wheels, has an electrical on/off switch which controls the vacuum pump of the extractor unit, a brake fluid and air extractor control valve which controls the flow of air and brake fluid being extracted from the master cylinder and brake system, a brake fluid application control valve which controls the flow of brake fluid (free of air) from the brake fluid reservoir container (with bracket) affixed on top of the control unit, a vacuum meter indicator which indicates the amount of vacuum present, and a master cylinder brake reservoir top with U-bolt which fit securely over the master cylinder of an automobile or truck. The control unit is connected to the master cylinder brake reservoir top by a heavy duty dual function extractor/application hose. The master cylinder brake reservoir top can be modified to fit other motor vehicles.
