  • Publication number: 20080211887
Abstract: An inkjet print head has a wall that separates an interior of the inkjet print head from an exterior of the inkjet print head. A channel passes completely through the wall for receiving a conduit therein. A trough is formed on an exterior of the component. A sidewall of the trough has an opening that aligns with the channel. The opening is for receiving the conduit therethrough before the channel receives the conduit.

  • Patent number: 6834946
Abstract: An ink jet cartridge is provided comprising an outlet port, an ink containing region, and a wick substantially surrounding a portion of the ink containing region, the wick being configured such that ink flows to the outlet port. Preferably, the wick is configured such that ink flows to the outlet port irrespective of an orientation of the ink jet cartridge.

  • Patent number: 6648458
Abstract: A marking fluid valve for a marking fluid delivery system of a media marking device. The marking fluid valve includes a resilient body having first and second opposite ends in fluid communication with one another, with the first end having a pair of opposed lips. The pair of opposed lips define a normally closed slit extending therebetween. Compressing the first end of the resilient body along axes of the lips deforms the resilient body from a closed position, in which the lips are in contact with one another to close the slit and prevent marking fluid from passing through the slit, to an open position, in which the lips are spread at least partially apart from one another to enable marking fluid to pass through the slit.
