  • Patent number: 10481888
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for managing an architecture, wherein the architecture comprises a main platform including a plurality of partitions for executing software, and at least one secondary platform. The method further comprises at least one step of associating each partition of the main platform with at least one processing member by installing, for each partition and each processing member, a driver specific to the relevant partition, the driver ensuring a secured link between the relevant partition and the operating member(s) with which the partition is associated.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 25, 2015
Date of Patent: November 19, 2019
    Assignee: THALES
Inventors: Eric Saliba, Emmanuel Gureghian, Cédric Nortier

  • Patent number: 8577035
Abstract: The present invention relates to an electronic circuit for securing data interchanges between a computer station and a network, said circuit comprising a first network interface connected to said network, said circuit comprising at least a second network interface connected to a network interface of said computer station, a unit for processing data passing between the first network interface and the second network interface, an interface for connection to an internal bus of the computer station suitable for electrically connecting the power supply, said electronic circuit not comprising any means of transferring processed data with the bus of said station. The invention applies in particular to the protection of personal computers handling confidential data.
    Type: Grant

    Inventors: Eric Saliba, Philippe Leleu
  • Patent number: 8432251
Abstract: A device for capturing biometric characteristics, the device having an optical sensor with a field of view covering a detection zone for detecting optical characteristics, and an electronic control unit that is connected to the sensor in order to control it, the control unit being placed at least in part in the field of view of the sensor and includes a memory containing at least one signature resulting from at least one reference optical characteristic of the control unit as seen by the sensor, and a comparator module for comparing the signature with at least one corresponding signature that results from at least one optical characteristic of the control unit as supplied by the sensor.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 12, 2008
Date of Patent: April 30, 2013
    Assignee: Morpho
Inventors: Eric Saliba, François Dufresne De Virel
  • Patent number: 8149088
Abstract: The invention concerns a biometric capture optical device (1) comprising a prismatic optical element (2) having one side (4) appearing in a window (3) to provide a support surface for a bodily limb and illuminating means (6) designed to illuminate the side (4) from within the element (2) and form by total reflection a biometric image of the bodily limb; in addition, luminous information display means are located beneath the element (2) opposite the window (3) so as, in the absence of the bodily limb on the side (4), to transmit, without total reflection, through the window (3) a luminous information image visible from outside (15).
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 22, 2005
Date of Patent: April 3, 2012
    Assignee: Sagem Securite
    Inventors: Nicolas Tissot, Eric Saliba
  • Patent number: 7889893
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of checking the authenticity of biometric sensing performed optically, in which a body organ (6) placed on a main face (2) of a prismatic optical element (1) is illuminated (8) with total internal reflection, and then the reflected radiation carrying the biometric image of said body organ is picked up (9). The method comprises the steps of superposing on the main illumination (8) on the main face (2) of the prismatic optical element (1), encoding illumination (14) in such a manner that it is the encoded combined radiation that is reflected by said main face (2) and picked up (9), and comparing (17) the encoded combined radiation with the encoding of the encoding illuminating radiation; thereby detecting the authenticity of the reflected radiation conveying the biometric image associated with the body organ placed on the main face.
