  • Publication number: 20240378734
Abstract: Systems and methods for overlaying image data for a biological sample on spatial analyte data are provided. A first image of the sample on a first substrate and a second image of the sample on the first substrate overlayed on a second substrate are obtained. The second substrate includes spatial fiducials and capture spots. At least one of the first substrate and the second substrate is transparent. A registration for the first image and the second image is determined, using a first pattern of the sample in the first image and a second pattern of the sample in the second image. The registration is used to overlay the first image onto a spatial dataset including spatial analyte data for the capture spots from the sample. A frame of reference of the spatial dataset is known with respect to the second image, based on the spatial fiducials of the second image.

  • Publication number: 20230140008
Abstract: Systems and methods for evaluating one or more biological samples are provided. A dataset is obtained from nucleic acid sequencing of the biological samples. The dataset comprises a discrete attribute value for each of a plurality of reference sequences for each entity in a plurality of entities in the biological samples. A two-dimensional spatial arrangement of the plurality of entities is indexed, each entity independently assigned a unique two-dimensional position in a k-dimensional binary search tree, and the spatial arrangement is displayed. A user selection of a subset of the displayed arrangement is received. Each entity that is a member of the subset is determined using the k-dimensional binary search tree, thus identifying a subset of entities. Each entity in the subset of entities is assigned to a user-provided category, and the dataset is modified to store an association of each entity in the subset to the category.

  • Patent number: 10830908
Abstract: A computer-based method to facilitate detecting wheel imbalance, a tire pressure problem, or excessive tread wear on tires of a moving vehicle is disclosed. The method includes collecting (e.g., from an accelerometer of a mobile personal computing device) data that represents vibration that results, at least in part, from the vehicle's motion, and determining, with a computer-based processor, whether the moving vehicle has wheel imbalance, a tire pressure problem, and/or excessive tire tread wear based at least in part on the vibration data produced by the accelerometer (and, possibly other data), where the mobile personal computing device and the accelerometer are moving with the vehicle when the data is being collected.

  • Publication number: 20180005463
Abstract: A device, system, and method for detecting faults in a vehicle includes a sensor proximate to the vehicle configured to produce sensor data that is stored and processed to generate a bulk feature set. Features are selected from the bulk feature set to produce a reduced feature set, and the reduced feature set is provided for a fault analysis of the vehicle, such that the reduced feature set does not substantially compromise accuracy of the fault analysis in comparison with a fault analysis based upon the bulk feature set.

  • Patent number: 9699023
Abstract: In accordance with some embodiments of the present disclosure, a method for initializing a network interface comprises monitoring a stream of data sent to a network interface and determining that a provisioning update for the network interface is complete. The method may further comprise sending provisioning data to a local file of the network interface, storing the provisioning data in the local file, and initializing an interface control module of the network interface based on the provisioning data stored in the local file.

  • Patent number: 9086941
Abstract: A system and method for providing predictive software upgrades is provided. Generally, the method comprising the steps of: querying a virtual vehicle application that simulates a real vehicle to determine one or more time period when the vehicle will be in an off state for long enough for updating of software to take place without the vehicle operating status being changed; transmitting a push notification to a user portable interactive communication device providing the one or more time periods determined, to the user for selection of one or more time period; receiving a selected one or more time period for upgrading of the software; transmitting a request for confirmation of a first of the one or more time period to the user portable interactive communication device at a predefined time period prior to the first of the one or more time period; and if the user confirms the first time period, instructing the upgrading of the vehicle control module by the vehicle at the first time period.

  • Patent number: 4065790
Abstract: An improved video processing amplifier includes means for correcting for any black level distortion present in a composite video signal input for restoring the black level to a substantially undistorted video signal black level. The composite blanking and sync signals are removed from the composite video signal input prior to black level distortion correction and restoration. A window signal positionable in a central area of the associated video picture producable from the composite video signal input is provided to accomplish black level distortion correction and restoration, with this window signal being used to key a keyed clamp DC restoration circuit ON during the central area of the associated video picture information. Image enhancement is provided in the resultant output composite video signal in a single transistor state. In addition, both white and black peak level clipping is provided in a common clipping amplifier stage based on the saturation characteristics thereof.
