Abstract: The present invention is a computer-implemented method comprising receiving a notification that a card in received by a grading machine; transferring the card on a platform to a scanning area within the grading machine; capturing a set of data associated with the card via a plurality of sensors and cameras of the grading machine; determining that the set of data associated with the card is accurate and without errors; analyzing the set of data to identify defects of the card; generating a label based on the identified defects; and encapsulating the card and the label in a slab, wherein the slab contains identifying information.
