Abstract: An apparatus for cleaning the bore of a firearm barrel includes an elongated flexible pull cord having a handle on a first end and a cleaning head on the second end. A pull weight is also attached to at the second end of the pull cord next to the cleaning head. The pull weight is dropped into and through the barrel. The cleaning head is then attached to the second end of the cord near the pull weight, and the user grasps the handle and pulls the cleaning through the bore. The cleaning head includes at least two distinct sections: a first for scraping debris off the interior wall of the bore, and a second for scrubbing the bored wall. Additional sections can be provided like an additional scraping section after the scrubbing section, such that the scrubbing section forms a medial section sandwiched between the two scraping sections.
