  • Publication number: 20240155404
Abstract: The disclosure relates to a 5G or 6G communication system for supporting a higher data transmission rate. A method of a user equipment (UE) performing a quality of experience (QoE) reporting operation for extended reality (XR) media services is disclosed. The method comprises receiving configuration information for a QoE reporting operation, determining whether an event for the QoE reporting operation is triggered based on the configuration information, generating a frame rate QoE metric comprising pose information of the UE, generating a round-trip time (RTT) QoE metric comprising a tethered delay between at least one tethered device and the UE, generating a codec QoE metric comprising 3D media codec type for 3D media, in response to the event being triggered, generating a QoE report comprising at least one of the frame rate QoE metric, the RTT QoE metric, or the codec QoE metric, and transmitting the generated QoE report.

  • Publication number: 20240091517
Abstract: A system for treating a vascular region includes an elongate catheter shaft having a distal end region, with an inner lumen formed in the elongate shaft and a fluid delivery lumen formed in the elongate shaft adjacent to the inner lumen. A treatment core is disposable within the inner lumen, and has one or more ultrasound transducers disposable adjacent to the distal end region of the elongate catheter shaft, the one or more ultrasound transducers including a proximal-most ultrasound transducer. The fluid delivery lumen is adapted such that fluid passing through the fluid delivery lumen exits the fluid delivery lumen at a position proximal to the proximal-most ultrasound transducer.

  • Publication number: 20240096036
Abstract: A method performed by a first terminal is provided. The method includes identifying capabilities of the first terminal connected to at least one component device, establishing, via a server, a session associated with an augmented reality (AR) service based on the capabilities of the first terminal, performing pre-processing on 3 dimensional (3D) media data acquired by the at least one component device, and transmitting, to a second terminal, the pre-processed 3D media data.

  • Patent number: 11881322
Abstract: This patent document relates to systems, structures, devices, and fabrication processes for ceramic matrix composites suitable for use in a nuclear reactor environment and other applications requiring materials that can withstand high temperatures and/or highly corrosive environments. In one exemplary aspect, a method of joining and sealing ceramic structures is disclosed. The method comprises forming a joint of a ceramic structure and an end plug using a sealing material, wherein the end plug has a hole that goes through a top surface and a bottom surface of the end plug; filling the ceramic structure with a desired gas composition through the hole; heating a material into a molten form using a heat source; and directing the material into the hole, wherein the material solidifies to seal the end plug.

  • Publication number: 20220008510
Abstract: A method of inducing lymphangiogenesis in the brain or central nervous system of a subject is provided in which an effective amount of a lymphangiogenesis inducer is administered. A method of inducing lymphangiogenesis in a tumor in the brain or central nervous system of a subject is provided in which an effective amount of a lymphangiogenesis inducer is administered. A method of treating a cancer of the brain or central nervous system is also provided in which an effective amount of a lymphangiogenesis inducer is administered. An example of a lymphangiogenesis inducer is VEGFC. The lymphangiogenesis inducer can be in the form of a protein or a polynucleotide encoding the protein, such as an mRNA or AAV. The lymphangiogenesis inducer can be administered to the cistemamagna or directly into the lymphatic system. An immunotherapeutic agent, such as a checkpoint inhibitor, may also be administered.

  • Publication number: 20180344655
Abstract: Nanoparticle compositions including one or more active agents, and strategies for enhanced delivery of the active agents, are provided. In preferred embodiments, the nanoparticles are composed of block copolymers of one or more hydrophobic polymers that form the core, and a hyperbranched polymer that forms a shell or corona. In some embodiments, the particles include an acid-sensitive, poly(amine-co-ester) (PACE) that can increase release of the active agent in acidic environments, for example within endosomes. The compositions can include one or more targeting moieties. Preferred targeting moieties include adenosine agonists and pHLIP which can enhance delivery to tumor cells. Methods of using the compositions to treat diseases and disorders of the central nervous system, for example, brain cancers such as glioma, are also provided.
